Like all the green present on the one seedling (3rd and 4th pics from the bottom), and that it looks like it extends on the sepals, too. Well worth the wait. Thumbs up

These are the only two still blooming. I added lotsa reblooming CV's this year, but just not mature enough yet.

Thumb of 2018-09-01/beenthere/2e6eb7 Helicopter shows no signs of stopping. On it's third set of scapes. I moved the smallest one about 2 ft forward, thought it looked crowded and stressed. Turns out it was growing on top of a tree stump we had grinded down a decade or so ago. Confused Anyhow, 10 days after it was moved, it's sending up a couple of new scapes!

I'm trying to take photos once a week to see how much longer I will have blooms.
I want to check and see if the last dozen or so plants to bloom were some of the same ones that were blooming very early in the season. Instead of just having late blooming daylilies for a short period at the end of the season, I would rather have plants that bloom early and rebloom the rest of the season. I think September is about as late as I can reasonably expect any kind of appreciable bloom from any plant.

Nice, Larry! I decided the same thing about the late bloomers this summer. They've all been replaced with re-bloomers. All the really early's are replaced also. Just decided that was the best use of space, and bang for the buck.

What a great start to the month! You all have so many reblooms!

Ken, your Puma is gorgeous!

Gerry, I like your seedlings with the applique in the 4th pic.

Ginny, your Blackjack Cherry has lovely color!

Tina, I really like your pic of the twin blooms of Helicopter - what a great and apt name for this daylily! They remind me of propellers.

Larry, your collection of reblooms is impressive! I don't think I ever get a rebloom on Fooled Me nor Beautiful Edgings.

Blooms from today!

Thank you for all of the comments.
Some days I have only one or two flowers open.

Here's John Benz's Pinnacle Pink on rebloom.

Surprisingly well-mannered despite its thick substance.
