I love pentas and I know you love pentas. I especially love the tall, hot pink pentas. But this week, I ran across some "Super Pentas" (my nickname, not the plant name)! It is called Panama Rose or Bush Pentas (Rondeletia leucophylla). I knew when I saw the leaves that the plants were related to pentas. But oh my, this thing is loaded with blooms! What a gorgeous plant if you love lots of big pink flowers! Are any of you growing it? Tell me about it - how fussy is it compared to "regular" pentas?

Here is a link to Google Images - go on, take a peek!:

I know that my Google Images link doesn't work. Not sure why. I posted a thread in the Site Talk forum: The thread "Google Images Link - Doesn't Hold Search Terms" in Site Talk forum

If you have this beautiful plant, would you please upload an image? We don't have any in the database yet: Panama Rose (Rondeletia leucophylla)

Here is a working link to Google Images. (Thanks, Dave, for figuring out the error in my search syntax - like you have time for that!)

Carol, this is a Panama Rose. I was not aware that it has a name "Penta". This is a beautiful plant, in bloom all the time and does not require any watering at least in my garden. We can trade some cuttings. I do not have any rooted right now
