I have a daylily that produced white seeds this year. I thought it was 'Big Kiss'. Was not labeled so I searched and came to this conclusion, but after reading a post about Siloam Peony Display having white seeds I think that may be my variety. Does anyone know any other daylilies that produce white seeds? I read that it's a genetic mutation in the black pigment gene. I saw that "moonlight orchid' also makes whte seeds.

Bedazzled you most likely have Siloam Peony Display, not Big Kiss. I have both and only SPD has white seeds.

I believe there are several other cultivars that produce white seeds. I know Fancy Deal does in my garden.

I got some white seeds earlier this summer too from a cross of a seedling with tet RFK. I sowed the seeds directly in the ground but have not seen any germinated yet.
