Flower Decoration

For some festivals here, people gather petals and leaves and make them into lovely patterns. This particular circular pattern was done by our department girls in the workplace corridor for the 'Dasara Festival', which is typical and traditional for our city. As such, many offices allow these and the bosses also take part in such things, without hampering work much. This was in 2009.

Dinu, great banner! When I was staying in Mumbai, I saw a beautiful intricate pattern composed of colored sand and petals that was in the lobby, amazing the skill and work that went into it!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
