|A few years ago, toomanyanimals (GW) shared seeds from her daylily crosses with me. This summer, all five seedlings of 'Greywoods Java Illusion' x 'Truly Angelic' seedlings sent up their first scapes I'd grown a few bee-made seedlings but never any planned crosses, and, golly, these sure made me smile! One of the seedlings didn't open/mature any blooms. It had lots of buds, but they'd get a couple days away from opening and then just drop off. The last two pictures are of the same seedling. The flash kind of washed out the color, and the only other picture I took of that one was after a hail storm. I enjoyed how fresh these guys still looked when I got home after work, too. These are the first/only fancy daylilies we have in our yard. I fear a new addiction may be brewing

|Many thanks for the welcomes!
The bees pollinated the apricot-colored seedling (last two pics), so I'm eagerly waiting to see if the pod finishes maturing
