I know that bivittatus is a species of Cryptanthus but I'm curious if there are actually cultivars with Bivittatus as part of the name? I submitted a proposal to delete which may have been an error on my part. I'm not certain but I believe this to be the correct entry: Earth Star (Cryptanthus 'Lueddemannii') I also noticed database listings for the two below and I'm wondering whether they are correct or not? ![]() ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |
Thanks, Lin. I approved your proposal and I'll convert the other two to cultivar entries. |
Actually, according to the Bromeliad registry, all three of these plants might be synonyms for Cryptanthus 'Lueddemanii.' I'll do some more research and make the appropriate corrections. |
Yes, they're all the same plant. Fixed now. |
