I just realised I have not posted on this site since the end of April. I am now spending half my working week with Kews cacti and succulent collection as well as tropical orchids,so the the past 6 weeks are a bit of a blur. Like everywhere else budget cuts mean less staff, more work! Here are some orchids that flowered during the past few weeks,I hope you like them.Thumb of 2011-06-19/rbtkew/72e11e

Richard, I am very happy you found some time to post! It's a nice show here this morning.
You posted some new ones for me, which I will look up - see the interesting Eulophia taitensis and the showy Rudolfiella aurantiaca.
The Sarcoglottis hunteriana is great, I will keep my eyes open for one.
Thanks Smiling

As always, Richard, I can't believe that we have the honor of having a cubit spy at Kew who enjoys sharing great photos of amazing and rare orchids with us! Hilarious! Thank you soooo much! I hope you are equiped with long leather gloves in the cactus rooms! Don't work too hard to enjoy Kew.
