I think my post disappeared

I just posted so here it is again..

we have a family of deer that goes back 15 years that bring their
fawns here each year and all come to eat and drink daily
at our home...until something such as domestic pet dogs that others will
not keep at their home or coyotes or snakes or hunters cause something
to happen to some of the family of deer..

Here is our new little fawn with its mother this past week!

I do have perennials but I spray a few twice a week a few in the flower bed
with repel a deer repellant

and I have
no problems with them eating the daylilys or other flowers..

we love our deer and all of the creatures we feed and water..

We laugh when the raccoon takes a bath in the fresh clean
large pan of water at the feeding area!

you see the fox that used to visit..

look to the right and you will see the
pan of fresh water they drink

that the raccoon submerges itself in
to take its bath

and then we have to clean it out again...

we love the animals
and I think they know it...even though they are not tame..

How cute your animals are! Here the does and fawns haven't been around for quite a while. They go some where else for the winter. The raccoons come by some nights to see of there's any birdseed in the bird feeder.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White
