I'm starting to get ideas. We need more orchid interest but I don't know our buddies e-mails. Maybe I'll d-mail them. |

boo: Yes, by all means d-mail and ask them for their e-addresses. I've been doing that all day! ![]() ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! ~ |

Kathy, I took your advice and went to an orchid seminar at Al's Garden Center in Woodburn, OR today. Wow, was that fun and I learned so much (drop in the bucket I'm sure). I joined the Orchid Society and received an orchid plant for joining. What a fun afternoon. Thanks for that advice Kathy. |

So glad that worked out for you, Lynn. Wish you lived nearby so I could take you to all the cool places out here! |

I keep saying some day I want to go to MA. My grandmother was from Lynn, MA. I did find out yesterday at the seminar that I don't want to grow orchids outside a pot. They need way to much care (daily). Weekly works great for me. But, who nows maybe at some point I will feel different about it. : ) It would be fun to go to those places with you, I know I would learn so much. Learning is such a fun thing to do. |

For the first time this weekend, being new to orchids, my DH and I dined among the orchids!! They are growing in a corner of the kitchen and gloriously surrounded our dinner. It was magic. 15 plants are blooming out of 23. DH says they seem to be multiplying "like rabbits". LOL. I fear an obsession coming on..... ![]() There are two ways to live your life. I found my way back. : ) Will take picture of the two that just opened up. Will post later. Thanks Kathy, wondered why I wasn't seeing any activity yesterday on the Orchid Cubit on my home page. It was gone all together. : ( |
