They sure arrived in perfect condition. Great idea for a thread. Shipping is every bit as import as price when ordering plants. Stainless Steel is beautiful!

Santa Rosa always does a good job packing plants, Those nets they use seem to work well.

Great packaging. Makes me wonder if perhaps it wouldn't be a bad idea to save the onion bags and use them when we package ours up....

For sure Carolyn, and somewhere in this house or shed I have around 40 of these I have saved as I like the stretchiness of these.

Today an order came from Garden Harvest Supply which should have been on hold until end of June. Here's how they ship plants:

3" pots. Measuring from top of soil, the tallest plant 11" and smallest 6". They are not large plants but I haven't had a problem with them. GHS offers reward points on purchases. I like saving the clamshells the pots are shipped in. No packing peanuts or styrofoam used.

Bob - Only 3 are mine and the others are my neighbor's. She said since she is late 60's she has to make up for lost time. Smiling And really the heux will be less work for her instead of planting flats of annuals.

Hi Chris - Redstone and Yellowstone Falls and Circus. I have 1 RF already from last yr which has yet to grow an inch much less trail so I'm moving it to a sunnier spot.

I've been using those Santa Rosa net bags to hang sunflower seeds in for the Goodfinches. They seem to like them. LOL.

Great idea and bought the sf seeds yesterday and tied the bags to the metal supports of awnings so the greedy squirrels can't get at them.

So Chris what did you buy?
I have every inch of space planted so the patio table is the workbench and luckily it's so hot no one wants to eat outside.

That's a nice selection, Chris. I bought Vienna and Ginger Ale last yr but they didn't make it as they were probably planted to late in the fall.
