My landscape company came while we were not home and sprayed weed killer. Most of the yard was covered with leaves and pine needles and were set from recent rain.
We usually move over some leaves but often take and make into compost. Will the weed killer remain after composting?

I also use the line needles on my iris beds for winter cover but do not know if the weed killer will harm them. ???
