Here's this crazy little fella my aunt gifted me this Thanksgiving! He's planted in one of my grandmother's old pots, but my aunt lost the ID tag. Leaves are very firm and succulent like. |

Your lovely little gift plant is called Earth Star (Cryptanthus bivittatus) When subjected to bright light, the coloration will change to pink: ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |

You are very welcome. They are fairly easy plants to grow. Since they don't have much of a root system, they do best in shallow pots with well draining soil. ~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt! ~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot! |
