I've had this rose for about four years, it is in the ground , it has grown to be four to five feet tall and about two feet wide![]() |

Looks like Bella'roma to me. Fragrance is supposed to be intensely fruity. Does yours have a great fragrance? Carol |

I hope you're feeling better soon Seil and that your surgery helps you! |
I'm not sure about the Bella'roma ID. That looks like a cluster of blooms, which would be more indicative of a floribunda or a grandiflora than a hybrid tea. Are those four blooms on separate canes? |

Seil, I wish you well also. Totally, agree with Vap . Can you use voice recognition so that way you relax ? I just tried using it and it's perfect. That way , you can always join in anytime . Looks like Bella Roma too |

Zuzu, I just saw a photo of "Music Box" that looked very similar to LCL's rose. What do you think? Even the leaves seem to be the same.![]() (photo found at Bailey Nurseries website) |
That was one of the ones I thought of too, Bleu. Day breaker is another possibility: Rose (Rosa 'Day Breaker') And Summer Fashion: Rose (Rosa 'Summer Fashion') And Little Darling: Rose (Rosa 'Little Darling') And a host of others. The combination of yellow and pink is quite common in roses. |

Thank you for the great responses. I'm strongly leaning toward the "Music Box" or the "Day Breaker". suggestions as possibles but I appreciate the other inputs as well. The last two were in the parking lot of a market and even though they looked sickly, I bought them anyway. There wasn't a name or even a tag other than the price ($7.00) on each little bag. First year poor results but with a full sun location and proper pruning I'm amazed with what I've seen over the last couple summers. I see no evidence of disease of any kind and perhaps I'm a lucky gardener because insects have not been a bother. The four blossoms in the photo were all on one cane. Fragrance is nice but not overwhelming. |

Out of those two, I would lean towards Music Box. ![]() |
Here's the Rose (Rosa 'Music Box') in our database with additional images. Bloom size is 2-3" and it's a short shrub averaging 2-3 ft. so may not fit yours. My gardening Blog! Handmade quilts, face masks, new & vintage fabrics in my Etsy store. Summer Song Cottage Instagram Sewing posts |

Calif_Sue you have me thinking. 2-3 feet high doesn't seem to match what I have here. These are nearly twice that tall. Thank you. I'll keep reviewing some of the other suggestions. ![]() |

I so appreciate the suggestions regarding the roses I asked to ID.. By searching I find the "Peace" Rose to be the very closest to what I have. The plant height of 5-6 feet and the colorful yellow/pink blossoms 5-6 inches in diameter makes it quite convincing. ![]() |

I don't believe Peace forms whole bouquets of blooms; they tend to be more solitary. Porkpal |
I don't think it's Rose (Rosa 'Peace') which is a high centered hybrid tea bloom and if it does display yellow, it's very delicate in it's coloring. My gardening Blog! Handmade quilts, face masks, new & vintage fabrics in my Etsy store. Summer Song Cottage Instagram Sewing posts |

But several other photos from the Rose (Rosa 'Peace") database do closely resemble LCL's rose (and the info also matches the height of his bushes, 4-7' and diameter of blossoms, 6"). Here's a few of them: Actually, LCL's photo shows almost all the colorations seen in the database photos. A gorgeous rose bush. You really were lucky to get those two bushes for only $7 each, LCL! ![]() |
