Vickie, yes the scapes do hold up the blooms nicely, even when there are several open. I like nice strong straight scapes too, and have found that "Christmas Mimosas" passes that trait on to it's offspring.

Look under "more" for outstanding pictures that Kathy took of Judy's garden on tour. There is "Little Big Ears" again.

Judy Davisson is my favorite hybridizer and has been a "friend" to me, even though we have only been physically together a few times. I belong to the daylily club she was a member of here in the north. If only I had gotten into daylilies before she left Michigan!

It was a thrill to visit her beautiful garden.
