Both the Plant List and Cat of Life ref. Kew as:
Allium siculum
syn. Nectaroscordum siculum

http://apps.kew.org/wcsp/named...

RHS sometimes differs (behind?)

So it should remain as an Allium. I tried the ITIS and had no luck on finding information on either name. It did have allium, but not Allium siculum?

Hi Janice, I changed the common name but can't find anything much further on this. The syns. seem to agree w/Kew. The Pacific Bulb Society has some comments here http://www.pacificbulbsociety.... under Allium bulgaricum. Nice pics by the way.
