This is so fresh and beautiful, and also has a great holiday feeling. I'm not familiar with this plant, so I'm off to check on it.

Like I've said before, we can always learn something from the banners. This beauty is new to me ; so I will definitely follow up as Karen has said. Very fresh and crisp looking appearance making it an excellent banner! Nice Casey! Thumbs up

Beautiful banner Casey!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Beautiful banner Casey. As others have said, it does look so crisp and clean! Now I have to go look it up too.

Thank you @Frenchy21, @plantmanager, @TBGDN, @crawgarden, @Fleur569, @Marilyn, @GaNinFl and @iciris!!

Thank you @Fleur569, @Marilyn, @tx_flower_child and @Dutchlady1 for the acorns!!!

And thanks to everyone for the thumbs up!

This is an annual. I bought the seeds from Select Seeds, along with a few other white flowers for a memorial garden. Only one Orlaya bloomed, but it's still alive after all the snow and temps in the 20s. Hopefully it will make it, or at least self seed. If not I'll plant more.Think it looks great among the daylilies.

Here's the full size pic.
