Loving the blooms - I'll have to check out the South side now that the snow is melting.

Same question I have, Diana. At first I thought the blossom was a morning glory.

Yesterday was dinner at my friends house in honor of my birthday. There was my friend and her family (and dogs) and her neighbor who made a home made really fabulous cake. And everyone sang happy birthday. It was great.

Everyone decided that I should have a birthday more often and not wait till next year as dinner and company were delightful and they didn't want to wait that long. Hilarious! I was instructed to have another celebration in 6 months for a half year birthday which was a totally made up thing but sounds like a good excuse to party. Rolling on the floor laughing

@florange
Arlene, Thank you for the info on your orchid culture. I have a few of my small phals in clay pots and the larger ones in plastic with a lot of holes drilled in the sides and bottom. All are now in a bark mix. I will be curious to see how I do with the plastic pots. They are smaller than the ones you are using ranging from approx 3 inch to 4.5 inch. It is certainly a learning experience!

Valerie, I stock 3", 4", 5", 6" 8" and 10" plastic pots. At the last orchid show I was at, I purchased a true baby orchid because it's name is Arlene Armour and my name is Arlene. It's growing well in a 2.5" square pot. I'll leave it there another month or so and then up-pot it to a 3" pot so I can give it some new moss.

Who would have thunk it? Getting a little dog has brought so much change and joy to my life.

Here I was happy at the party were we were all sitting around the table eating and socializing. What a change from almost being a recluse before I got Lily.
