I assume you are talking about Helichrysum petiolare?

If so, they are easily started from cuttings in the spring. Take 3 or 4 inch tip cuttings from non-flowering stems. Pull all the leaves off the bottom half of the cutting, dust it with rooting hormone, plant it in a 3 or 4 inch pot. Keep the cuttings moist. It helps to put a plastic bag (with one corner cut out) over the pot to keep the humidity high.

They should root in just a couple weeks.
