'Cherry Berry' has been in my garden since 2006. This small hosta has dark green lance shaped leaves with white centre area, irregularly streaked into the green. Slightly rosy petiole. Named after the fall colour of the cherry coloured seed-pods. I like this one a lot, but so do the slugs and it doesn't usually look wonderful late in the season. It does have lovely violet flowers but the seed pods are an amazing red. It produces masses of seeds which do germinate but I have yet to find any that aren't totally lacking in chlorophyll and they generally die quickly. Please feel free to share your pictures of this hosta.
