Good Day to you all!

I came across this plant a while back in April while I was walking my dog.
I thought the color of the plant was quite unique:
The stem was sort of burgundy in color, the tip of the plant where the flowers sprung looks similar to a Lavender but still burgundy in color.
Then I noticed that it has flowers (a bunch of them together like a hydrangea) on it which looked like a shade of lilac and pink.

I really love the aesthetic of this plant and was wondering if you could help me identify it.

I live in Southern California.

I'm guessing that this is a wild plant.
I came across a photo of it online and its the only photo i have. I cant search for more since I have no clue on what the name is.
