I can't really say. Virus generally disrupts at the cellular level making the breaking look more checkerboard like. When the breaking is more along the line of the veins it is usually a nutrition problem.

But I have never seen anything look this bad Confused . If it were in my garden I think I would toss it to be on the safe side. But that's just my opinion and unwillingness to take the risk (kind of like the stock market). Maybe someone else will pipe up...
