I think I'm getting the workout of the century though Hilarious!

On June 1st I bought an allotment of 220 m2, which may not sound like much to your US ears Big Grin , but for a Dutch city-girl it is a lót of land! Thumbs up
It hadn't been used for 3 years and it needed "a little work"..
First I chopped down the head-high weeds, so I could see what I had bought

I started on one half, spading the ground, removing the grass and all weeds and their roots

I made side boards from wood so I have raised beds (the original ground is heavy clay)

I have removed both old apple trees and filled in the border with good soil

That half is already filling up quite nicely with DL's I had in containers at home and DL's I bought this Summer.
(I also use other plants to make the borders a bit mixed)

I have dedicated seedling beds (these are the seedlings from Steve's (Ahead) seeds I bought on the LA Hilarious! )
