I've never had the luxury of gardening around trees that don't drop seeds, but consider it a decent trade for their shade during the hot part of the year. :+) Just wish oak sprouts pulled up a little more easily.

And I must say, cherry laurel seedlings are the most tenacious sprouts I've ever encountered en masse. The first time I pulled those and left them laying there like most other pulled weeds, I realized that didn't kill them. The roots just found the ground again and they stayed alive. I had to pull all of them again. Now I make sure to put them where they can't do that.
The golden rule: Do to others only that which you would have done to you.

The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago. The 2nd best time is now. (-Unknown)
