You know, we noticed something in the grocery store recently. It was in Winn Dixie. We reached up to get some orange blossom honey but it didn't quite look right. So we began to examine the bottle wondering why it didn't have the proper color & clarity of orange honey. And then it struck us! The label did NOT say PURE orange blossom honey. It only said orange blossom honey & had a picture of orange blossoms on it. Look at the back in the ingredients list & it said simply "honey", not orange blossom honey. This was Winn Dixie brand BTW. Well, we got it anyway because Winn Dixie doesn't exactly have much selection in the honey dept. & we didn't want their wildflower honey. Now we have lots of experience with pure orange blossom honey. It has an unmistakable distinctive flavor. We tasted this stuff & take our word for it it is NOT pure orange blossom honey --- no way, no how. It has a lot of other honey in it but pure it is not. So, beware, they are getting mighty tricky with the labeling out there & if it doesn't say PURE on the front or back then you aren't getting what you think you're getting. I'm sure this is all legal because they never claimed it was pure but I certainly consider it deceptive tactics!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
