Hi Kybunnies!

Yes it is a Hibiscus Coccineus! Beautiful plant with blooms that open and last one day! Reminds me of my mother who went digging them out of the sides of creek beds here. We always teased her about her Mary Jane plants! It is very nice that you have that from your Grandma!
