OH
My soon to be MIL made me a succulent garden for my birthday. She even went out and bought cactus soil for them. It's a very thoughtful gift on her part....

I think she might have bought the plants from Home Depot because their succulents have been looking sad (definitely overwatered) I'm pretty sure that every single succulent in the garden she made me has severe root rot. I pulled almost all of them out to examine the roots to discover no salvageable roots. They are all black/brownish and soggy with very little root systems... I don't have the heart to tell her all the plants she picked out have root rot... with that said, I know it will only be a matter of time before they all die, whereas all the other plants I own are thriving. Can any of these succulents be propagated? I'm not sure what they are beyond the chick and hens. I did cut one root system completely off minus two roots, but the rot is in the stem. Any advice is appreciated.
