Dear fellow human beings,
We've noticed that our Fig Tree here in the South of France has been partially eating inside by this little balck insect we cannot identify therefore we don't know how to take care. I've research online a bit and the closer I got was the Bark Borer.

Any assistance to what insect it is or how to treat the tree are welcomed. Thank you in advance!

(You can see on the one picture of the insect I think it is 4mm or less and seems to be a kind of beetle).
