Daffodils blooming, magnolias buds swelling. I had to take the leaf mulch off to save them from the moisture and slugs! I love spring just as much as everybody else, believe me. But right now, I am wishing for 30-40 degrees and gradual warming from here on out. I can already count the buds on many, many of my tree peonies. It is just unsettling. Trying not to worry.
