I have two interesting volunteers in my rose garden in midtown Manhattan. I didn't rip
them out because they are interesting and pretty. However, I know nothing about them.
iNaturalist identifies them by the names I've printed below the pictures. I can't verify
these names. That is all I know about them. They've been in my garden for several seasons,
but I haven't done anything to encourage or discourage them. They get watered when
everyone else does, but not fertilized. I'm wondering if I can encourage either of them into a bush.
Or, will either of them flower?
Any information would be appreciated. David
