It looks like we may have had our last day with a temperature in the 70's (F); but 60s are nice and even 50s are pretty acceptable if it's sunny out, so that's okay with me Smiling

Still so much to do with the garden - I have a LOT of peppers to pick and do something with, I'll probably make a few pints of refrigerator pickles with some and freeze most of them to use later on; and then there are the carrots to dig and get stashed away, and beets to dig and can (that is the job I dread most, I really hate the mess that I always manage to create with beets!). The next couple of days I'm planning to spend trying to get the weeds under control so we can mulch with leaves and grass clippings... and the garlic will be need to be planted in the next few weeks as well. And happy to say that I've still been seeing female hummingbirds at our feeders, but I'm sure they will be gone soon.
