We still have a few 70's days left in the forecast and I'm excited not to have had a frost yet. We finally have gotten enough rain for some of the grass to come back although we'll probably have to reseed some next spring. I still have peppers and carrots to harvest too and the broccoli is still going good. I've gotten enough to freeze some but mostly we eat what we get. There are still tomato's going but the birds are opening them up as they start to turn so I don't know if I'll have anymore.

I've been taking cuttings from coleus and a few other plants and bringing in my soft succulents. I planted the pots in the ground today with plants that I'd separated and potted up. Several hosta, huechera, Jack Frost Brunnera , and some painted ferns and a few other plants. I gathered some seeds from some petunia's and pansy's that I really like and a seed head from an Only the Lonely nicotiana. There must have been seeds in the soil that finally came to the surface and germinated because I used to grow it in that area years ago.

I'm sure enjoying the cooler weather. Happy autumn to everybody
