Hugh Stout, the breeder, is not as well known but thus iris is worthy of any of the folks that win awards all the time. The standards are satiny and diamond dusted, and the falls look like velvet. I encourage everyone to plant this one - it formed a nice clump by year 2. I have nothing but praise.
