Ooooh those are fan-flower-tastic!!! I had a physical craving sensation looking at the purple banana thing! How cool is that?

Here are some little cuties I spotted in a nearby park yesterday. Since the park is south of my house by a few miles, that's about as tropical as I can get!

I keep asking the name of this tiny one every spring, that can look a lot more blue-ish purple than this pic, but keep forgetting. Prevalent in the grass around here at this time, soooo cute!
