Wow, Jonna those heliconias are gorgeous. Mine are at least 2 months away from blooming.

We keep having cool fronts brush by us, which slows down the blooming plants. Another one coming by tonight and tomorrow, then Thursday our high will not reach 70deg. and the low will be in the 40's.

My big passiflora quadrangularis is blooming 'way up high in the clump of bamboo. I know this because the spend flowers then fall down and lay forlornly on the walkway below. I don't even get to see the lovely, fragrant flowers, but here's a picture from last year of what they look like.
