Sometimes I think Aunt Bett delighted in drama and trickery, just to be sure I never forgot what she was teaching. At the time I didn't usually think it was a bit funny.
You would have loved it there and then, J. Not so much now. The mountain I usually climbed is still there, untouched, but the people, well, not so much. But I'll tell you, I wouldn't trade the memories made there for anything. It was the best place in the best time for this kind of learnin'!
