I'm a Marine and Freshwater Biology graduate with additional academic background in Environmental Science. I dream of one day becoming a conservation scientist, with a focus on restoring aquatic ecosystems.
Outside of the sciences, I enjoy working with plants, primarily cactuses and succulents, followed by tropicals and a few carnivorous plants. Most of my plants are grown indoors, though I keep some outside in container gardens. While the majority of my plant experience is personal hobby, I've spent some time working in plant ecology labs and volunteered with seed collection projects for endangered trees and shrubs.
I keep a wide variety of animals, including multiple reptiles, arachnids, tropical fish, rats, cats, a rabbit and a dog. I've also spent a lot of time working and volunteering in animal related fields.
I love exploring outdoors, whether it be hiking through forests and hills, scuba diving, or wandering rivers and beaches. I also enjoy nature photography, and photograph a lot of plants, animals and landscapes during hikes.
In summary, I love the things that nature has to offer. Whether it be the natural things I share my home with, or the things I can see and enjoy in the wild.
