I love being outside in nature and enjoying the beauty of it all. I no longer have any houseplants. Plants that are considered houseplants live outside in my garden where they are much happier than being stuck in my house where I have been guilty of neglecting them. I prefer that my garden has a natural look to it rather than a professionally landscaped one. My goal is to turn the neglected patch of land around my home in Florida into a magical secret garden.
I am a member of The Platinum Coast Orchid Society, The Sea Rocket Chapter of the Florida Native Plant Society, and am working on my Florida Master Gardener Certification.
I can't pick a favorite plant because I really do love them all.
And most of all, I love having The National Gardening Society as my main form of social media. There are so many amazing and wonderful people, plants, and gardens. Its an interactive encyclopedia that cannot be beat.
