I am an avid iris gardener and novice hybridizer (only since 2011). I will begin to register some of my hybrids this year (2016). I became an iris collector when I planted some to 'reclaim' a long weedy hillside and found the conditions here perfect for them. Now I have something like 1000 varieties (of other people's) and quite a few of my own hybrids. But I'm not a one-trick pony! I also have, and am looking to add, other types of plants, bushes, trees.
