I live in Lucketts, a rural community in northern Virginia. The place is called Aspen Hill, in memory of Aspen, an American Eskimo dog who was a constant companion during the years spent searching for the land and throughout the house building process. Aspen Hill is beautiful woodland with a meandering creek and a large pond. My paradise on earth.
