I just added a small one gallon beni otake to my garden. It arrived today but I admit I haven't given much thought as to where I will plant it. I have several favorite spots to chose from - all with plenty of room for future growth. I was wondering if there was anyone here in zone 7a (I am in the Virginia mountains, reclassified from z6b to z7a this year). Trying to find out how much sun it will thrive in but online sources vary so much. Looking for input from people growing it in my zone. Many thanks!
