I'm writing to let folks know please!!! don't plant this in the northeast. I planted one maybe 20 years ago and ended up getting rid of it ( or so I thought!) . There's a brushy roadside across from me and I find it there all the time - a terrible suckering root system besides spreading by seed. I cut them down and use Stump and Vine killer, but I do it every year. Never again! Be careful!
