Thanksgiving Week -- What Are Your Plans and Menu?

Thanksgiving week- mmmmmmmmmm! I can smell the goodness coming out of the kitchen now!

What is on your menu? Do you generally have the same things every year, or do you swap it out? Are you the primary cook, do you share the responsibilities, or are you a welcomed guest at someone else's house this year?

Do you take the whole week to prepare your goodies, or cook on one day?

Are you planning company?

Do you dare brave the stores on the day after?

Here at the Whitinger house, things will likely be low key. Last year was only the second time in our married lives when we didn't have a house full of company to cook for (the first was our first year in Dallas, having been married 2 years). Having a newborn, we actually ate pizza and I managed to bake a pumpkin pie! This year, we are again "alone". Seems like this may be our new normal, so I'm struggling a bit to find our new groove and traditions. My standard menu seems so huge for just the 6 of us! We'll see what this year brings.
