You remember floppy disks (if not, ask your parents). Everyone had them and saved copies of backup disks in these boxes . Well, it's time to give them a new life as mini greenhouses.

Old floppy disk storage cases are like a mini greenhouse.

They have a tinted lid that opens either fully or can be propped open with a small stick to vent. The holes in the bottom that were used for the dividers are perfect drain holes or can be covered if not wanted.
.
The ones in the photos are small, but they came in all different sizes. Some would hold 100 or more disks. They were made in different heights, depending on whether they were for 5-1/4" disks or 3-1/2" disks . You may even be able to find some 8" cases, which were for the big floppies that were used on servers.

You might have some in your attic or basement or you can check out a few yard sales for these mini greenhouses.
