Winter Sowed on 1-2-2021. Also sowed in soil blocks in 2023 (seed, however was market as "Red Coneflower" so it may or may not be KISMET.) We'll see.

Notes: Seed Collecting: Will be interesting to see if flowers are sterile, or if plant comes true from seed. Kismet Red may be different than
Echinacea, Hybrid Coneflower 'Kismet Raspberry'
Notes: Long blooming, Midsize, group at the middle of a garden
in well drained soil. Buds begin to open in late spring and continue to show off brilliant, slightly curved intense red rays surrounding orange cones right until a hard freeze in the fall.

February 13, 2024: Seeds germinated (Good germination! Most of the "red coneflower" seeds planted germinated in the soil blocks.)
February 18, 2024: Transplanted (Transplanted the tiny plants in the soil blocks into a green humid dome cell planter. We'll see how they do in the greenhouse in cool temps but with more sunshine.)
March 20, 2024: Potted up (Transplanted from green cell planter to larger pots to grow on. Added greensand to potting mix.)
