Bonehead's Plant List: Perennial

A note from Bonehead

I am located in north Snohomish County, Washington, Zone 8b, a temperate rain foresty region. I rarely get snow, extreme cold, or extreme heat. Global warming, however, is changing the last one and we now get summer temps that are uncomfortably hot for me (anything over 30 C). I use this feature as a mini-database of my plants - both those within my tended beds/yard and those in my wild areas. The dates for plant events (budding, flowering, etc.) are ranges, not necessarily inclusive on both ends.

Pasque Flower (Pulsatilla vulgaris 'Papageno')	Have Perennial	Watch for vole damage to the roots. Deadhead, but leave some for seedheads. Foliage thickens up midsummer. Bitch corner 2006 (?) and added more in 2015 (gave up on yarrow). Various colors: pink, red, purple. This purportedly self-seeds, let it. Salvia 'Wendy's Wish'	Have Perennial	2018 from Julia. This is not hardy here (zone 9), perhaps put in a container and try to overwinter it in the basement. Gets fairly large.
