The very attractive glossy foliage is bronze at first, turning to bright green. The profuse, fragrant, bright greenish-yellow flowers are borne during late spring. Hardy zones 8 to 10, it is recommended for maritime climates as well as tropical and mild temperate highlands." It is not generally troubled by pests.

However, it is a seedless table grape, so it might be good for hybridizing with Pierce's Disease resistant grapes. It is an ancient variety from Persia.
