Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Marilyn Morss Johnson') |
Have Daylilies |
Obtained from Maryott 2015; label confusion and no plants bloomed in 2016; finally sorted out and confirmed in 2018; one petal canoes :( |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Mary's Gold') |
Have Daylilies |
brilliant color and blooms always open well pod difficult but set one pod in 2016 wish it had better budcount and branching; did poorly in 2020 with no bloom, possibly due to irrigation spray blockage by potted OKTOBERFEST Weeping Beech bed |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Nancy Billingslea') |
Have Daylilies |
North Ginkgo bed rebloom scapes in Aug, 2016 died or gophers ate or something, 2017; repurchased June 2018 from Oak Hill Daylilies |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Neon Flamingo') |
Have Daylilies |
|||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Newberry White Dove') |
Have Daylilies |
Taller than registered height here, at average 22.5" or more Sometimes will have late summer or early fall rebloom, but this is not consistent Narrow foliage; seems to have some degree of rust resistance; this one is a probable keep forever, but it doesn't really go well with the rounder form daylilies, so it should be moved somewhere else |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'One Fine Day') |
Have Daylilies |
EMO; good rust resistance; possible CMO; two periods of bloom, in May and again in the fall low bud count per scape; transmits this trait to offspring |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Orange Clown') |
Have Daylilies |
reacquired from LA blueridge in 2016; probably dead, but if it's still alive, keep |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Osterized') |
Have Daylilies |
From Judy Davisson; rarely polymerous here, ~ 1%, but always opens well; fragrant Generally in bloom in Silicon Valley from last week in May, until sometime the first week in July; Difficult to set pods on, but can sometimes manage it the last bloom or two; |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Pacific Shamrock') |
Have Daylilies |
Grown in brick patio area shade; really nice bloom rust found Aug 2016 |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Pale Sun Rising') |
Have Daylilies |
Old plant obtained from the Adams. Possibly a CMO/EMO. Narrow sepals which tend to cup; surface pigment prone to insect damage. can stand to part with this one Some susceptibility to rust on lower leaves. Best feature arguably is a narrow gilt edge on the flower. Foliage very narrow. |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Pink Fanfare') |
Have Daylilies |
Seriously needs major dividing as greatly overgrown and the blooms are small now
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Pleated Pumpkin') |
Have Daylilies |
Obtained from Bill Maryott, pre 2016
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Rocket Booster') |
Have Daylilies |
Divided in Fall of 2015; repotted Low % of poly blooms Somewhat pod difficult but not impossible, and potentially useful for poly breeding; Color is not bad and somewhat more sun resistant than many reds, and blooms always open well; |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Ruby Spider') |
Have Daylilies |
obtained from Dancing Daylily in 2014; presuming plant is correct, significant rust (brick patio area) 2017 |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sacrament of Healing') |
Have Daylilies |
From the Lily House leaf streak or scorch or deficiency in 2016 Rebloomed in 2016 |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sears Tower') |
Have Daylilies |
Side yard entry bed location, fall 2015 Some rust in summer of 2016, but seems to come back clean the following year, provided there are no rust buckets around to re-infect; Good for a dependable (no rebloom) 4-5 weeks of bloom; large diamond dusted slightly fragrant blooms always open well and are always welcome, so this is a probable keep forever plant; |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sir Clyde') |
Have Daylilies |
From Sacramento area nursery (Bushnell Gardens Nursery?); observed many polymerous blooms there but they are very rare here (< 1%). Although the blooms have an older form (no edging, not round or highly ruffled) the daylily is worth keeping as it begins bloom earlier than most of my daylilies, has taller scapes, and the blooms reliably open well. (Being up against the house may or may not have something to do with that.) This daylily looks very good close-planted with Penstemon 'Garnet'.
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Small World Edwin Keith Smith') |
Have Daylilies |
from Michael Miller appears to have some degree of rust resistance |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Small World Margarita') |
Have Daylilies |
from Michael Miller in 2013 lovely flower; plant seems slightly susceptible to rot, but conversely appears to have some resistance to rust |
||
Daylily (Hemerocallis 'Sun Silk') |
Have Daylilies |
from Maryott; nicely formed flowers; do not recall seeing rust on it; pod very difficult if not impossible; fairly consistent flowers that always open well, and some rebloom; LFO mid August; this is a beauty, keep forever |
