We received 4 large pads to plant as a gift from some Mexican friends. They called them Nopales. They gave us an additional pad to eat (with instructions) and it was delicious. Wonderful ground cover. It doesn't like mulch stuffed close to its base, especially during a hot summer when I kept it watered. When I cleared away the mulch in October, I found the oregano quite forgiving and the leaves are looking perfect now a month later. | |
