MIg - 2022 SN 2024 - nice large cloves Hardneck Making a stop in Canada prior to making its journey to us here in the United States, Music is a hard-neck variety that originated from Italy. This heirloom variety has weathered even the toughest winter conditions making it particularly suitable for the northern states, specifically in the Pacific Northwest Region as well as widely grown in most of Canada. Although hard-neck garlic is not known for its storage capabilities, Music can maintain its vitality longer than most! Once harvested, this variety will take you through the winter into early spring. This porcelain variety has a robust and pungent flavor and aroma. The bulbs will produce 4-7 large cloves that are wrapped in soft white paper that is easy to peel. Once you begin fertilization, fertilize the garlic every three weeks. Days to Maturity: Garlic can take up to 210 days to mature. Harvesting: Harvest garlic when green leaves have turned brown and fallen over. |

MIg - 2022 The beauty of Nootka Rose was originally cultivated in the San Juan Islands off of the Washington State coast. As a part of the silverskin cultivar, Nootka Rose is one of the longest storing heirloom garlic varieties. When stored in proper conditions it's been known to surpass a year of storage without losing its vitality! Keeping garlic in a cool area out of the direct sunlight ensures that you will have garlic even past your next successions sowing. The paper of these cloves has a dark pink hue, close to a dusty rose, that will give way to a pristine white bulb. The flavor is strong and is maintained through storage as well. Nootka Rose is the perfect garlic for all climates! It grows well in northern and southern states. Each medium-sized bulb has about 6 - 24 cloves with a strong garlic flavor. Days To Maturity: About 90 days. |

twf - 2022 a.k.a. Ramps. A perennial wild onion is native to much of North America. Plants bear small, scallion-like bulbs with a unique, strong garlic and onion flavor. The bulbs are seeing increasing use in gourmet restaurants and are popular in certain local cuisine, both in the southern U.S., as well as Quebec. A short plant, growing to just 12-18". Freeze hardy. Ramp plants grow best in USDA Hardiness Zones 3 through 7 and will grow in the same cool and damp conditions as wildflowers such as trout lilies, trillium, or ginseng. It is best to plant them after the early springtime or during late summer or early fall. Zones 3 - 7. |

Anemone blanda, commonly called Grecian windflower, is a spreading, tuberous-rooted perennial that is native from southeastern Europe (including of course Greece) to the Caucausus and Turkey. It blooms in early spring. Plants typically grow to only 4-8" tall and feature attractive daisy-like, dark blue flowers, each of which contains 9-14 showy petal-like sepals, but no petals (apetalous). Tubers are knobby in appearance. Foliage is deeply cut and fern-like. Plants spread out to form a carpet of flowers in spring. Zones 4-8. |
