|||
Sedum (Petrosedum rupestre subsp. rupestre 'Angelina') |
Have Rocks |
This has spread widely in the rock garden. I like it, it's bright.
Orange Stonecrop (Phedimus floriferus 'Weihenstephaner Gold') |
Have Rocks |
2020: The original one at the far east end was a mess of weeds so I dug it up, gutted it, and replanted. Doesn't look good right now, but hoping it recovers. The others just needed a brutal weeding and they look fine. 2003: Planted. It has since spread here and there around the rocks. |
||
Kamchatka Stonecrop (Phedimus kamtschaticus) |
Have Rocks |
|||
Takeshima Stonecrop (Phedimus kamtschaticus Atlantis™) |
Have Rocks |
2020: Healthy potted plant from Gilbert Wild.
Sedum (Phedimus kamtschaticus 'Variegatum') |
Have Rocks |
I have 3 of these at least: 2020: New one from P.O. Behind the water, slightly W. 2002: Right next to the steps. Another one, either planted at the same time or migrated to step section, in front of the 1st post, towards the back. |
||
Two-Row Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius 'Fool's Gold') |
Have Rocks |
2021: 2 plants from PO. 1 is just E of water, 1 is water section near the rear.
Sedum (Phedimus spurius 'Fuldaglut') |
Have Rocks |
'Fireglow' 'Blaze of Fulda' 2014: Added more. These have spread around the rock garden. I like them for their bright red color later in the summer. 2003: Planted some |
||
Two-Row Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius 'Pink Jewel') |
Have Rocks |
I've planted both this and John Creech. I have concluded that the one next to the steps has to be this one because of the time frame. I didn't plant JC until 2013 and the one by the steps has been there for much longer than that, probably around 2002.
Sedum (Phedimus spurius 'Tricolor') |
Have Rocks |
I've had mixed luck with these and they're slow to spread for me. 2020 - Planted 1 - behind the water 2018 - Planted 3 - E end, L of preacher, by the sidewalk (E end is gone) 2017 - 1 R of the preacher (alive) 2016 - Planted 3 - along the sidewalk, only 1 is alive. 2005 - Planted 1 - unknown, it's gone |
||
Two-Row Stonecrop (Phedimus spurius 'Voodoo') |
Have Rocks |
2015: Planted E end in front of vent. Not sure how many or exactly where. I can't see much difference between this and Fireglow, but I'm going to assume the ones right around the vent are Voodoo.
Horned Rampion (Phyteuma scheuchzeri) |
Have Rocks |
Need to keep these in check
Afghan Stonecrop (Rhodiola pachyclada) |
Have Rocks |
|||
Afghan Stonecrop (Rhodiola pachyclada 'White Diamond') |
Have Rocks |
2020: Planted from P.O.
Rosewort (Rhodiola rosea) |
Have Rocks |
From Deb |
||
Silver Saxifrage (Saxifraga paniculata) |
Have Rocks |
2020: Planted small one from P.O. Supposed to be very hardy - a true alpine plant. One source says it doesn't like winter moisture, another says it doesn't like too much hot sun. We'll just have to see...
Saxifrage (Saxifraga paniculata 'Lagraveana') |
Have Rocks |
2020: New plant from P.O. Just a little thing, looks healthy enough.
Goldmoss Stonecrop (Sedum acre) |
Have Rocks |
This kind of pops up everywhere. It's steppable.
Sedum (Sedum album 'Black Pearl') |
Have Rocks |
2020: 3 new little guys. One over near the steps looks like it might have fried. Two next to the water are looking OK.
Sedum (Sedum album subsp. album 'Murale') |
Have Rocks |
2006: Planted. It's spread around the rock garden here and there. |
